Hope Against Hope
Hope is a thing upon which expectations are built. Hope is to expect and wish with the belief that there is some possibility of fulfilment of a thing. The word of God says against hope Abraham believed in hope. Abraham trusted God so much that he believed every promise God made to him, even if it seem impossible, would come to pass.
God is the Alpha and the Omega so when He is making promises to us He may be standing at Alpha the beginning but He is seeing it done at Omega the end. When God made promises to Abraham concerning his children there were no children. However, God spoke as if Abraham had already fathered many children but in reality in the earth, Abraham had none. Abraham at that time was dealing with what I call the spirit of promise that is the promises that God made but they have not become flesh and manifest in the earth. Sometimes when God makes us a promise we have to wait until due time. Due time is the time when the promise is ripe and ready to manifest as flesh in the earth
Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.Rom 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
This is where our hope comes in. God has made us many promises but we need to have patience as we wait for them to manifest in the earth. So we have to do just like Abraham, we have to hope against hope and believe in hope. Call things that be not as though they were. We have to encourage ourselves because we trust God so much that we know that he is not a man that He would lie to us. Even when you don’t see that which you hope for, pray, then get right up and thank God for what He is going to do. Begin to praise God for being a promise keeper. Praise Him for all of His goodness toward us.
Even as you pray and praise obstacles are being moved, people are being raised up, you are being matured and made ready to step into your promise.
It is harvest time!
